Nick Luscombe

Nick Luscombe shares a classic piece of Sao Paulo experimentation, plus Welsh psych-pop and trap-fused electronics.

Nick revisits a classic of the vanguarda paulista - Sao Paolo's Arrigo Barnab茅's 1980s suite Clara Crocodilo. Barnab茅's blend of lyrics about Scalextrix and pinball, with through-composed, at times serialist musical structures and hints of tropicalia set the tone for sonic experimentation in 1980s Sao Paulo.

Also on the show, trap-fused electronics from LA producer Matthewdavid, and with Welsh Language Music Day coming up later in the week we've alt-psych-pop from Mr Huw.
