Christmas Eve Special: Noddy Holder

Mr Christmas himself, Noddy Holder, joins Johnnie for a festive 70s spectacular.

Mr Christmas himself, Noddy Holder, joins Johnnie for a festive 70s spectacular.

With Slade, Noddy was responsible for the most iconic Christmas hit of all time: Merry Xmas Everybody became the Christmas number one of 1973, beating another, Wizzard's Christmas hit "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday". The 70s were Slade's heyday - with 7 albums, and 6 number 1 singles during the period.

Also on the programme, Johnnie digs out some suitably festive archive clips and inducts another classic record into Johnnie's Jukebox (this week with extra jingle bells).
