Pete Astor

Former Weather Prophet Pete Astor joins Marc for a live session. Plus, Rob Hughes tags along for a journey into the Parallel Universe.

British songwriter Peter Astor joins Marc for live session.

Best known for his work with The Loft , The Weather Prophets, The Wisdom of Harry and Ellis Island Sound, Astor is also a Senior Lecturer at The University of Westminster, where he teaches, researches and writes about music.

Pete's last album Spilt Milk came out last year and was recorded with James Hoare of Ultimate Painting, Proper Ornaments, and Veronica Falls fame.. James is also recording Pete Astor's new album as well as providing guitar on it along with The Wave Picture's rhythm section of Franic Rozycki on bass and Jonny Helm on drums. You'll have heard the first product of this collaboration " 'Water Tower' repeatedly on Marc's show in recent weeks.

Plus Rob Hughes will be along to drag Marc into the Parallel Universe armed only with an old music paper and some great music.
