Following the success of their 1980 debut and a number of line-up changes, The Breeders recorded their classic LP Last Splash in San Francisco. After its release in 1993, the band toured with Nirvana, sold several million records and scored a big hit with Cannonball. Their last release was 2008's Mountain Battles but there's much expectant speculation about new material.
