The Don's selections cross time, space and genre. Each week, as well as blending his favourite new music with classics from the UK, USA, Jamaica, Africa and way beyond, Don highlights a piece of Crucial Vinyl - a cherished album from his own collection. This week it's Lamb's self-titled debut, released in 1996.
Don says, 'This brilliant debut by the English electronic duo from Manchester tapped into the whole Bristol trip hop thing, combining elements of drum 'n' bass, jazz, dub and breakbeats, but what really set it apart was the magnificently distinct vocal delivery of vocalist Lou Rhodes.'.
