Internationally renowned singer Iestyn Davies explains, and demonstrates, the art of the countertenor to Janice ahead of an appearance at the Edinburgh International Festival.
Luke Wright discusses his poetry play Frankie Vah, about 80s idealism, politics and learning to compromise, and explains how seeing performance poetry influenced his own career.
Glaswegian comedian Ray Bradshaw has deaf parents, and is performing stand-up in his first language this year: as well as spoken English, he'll be doing his show in sign language. And one of Iceland's favourite comedian, Ari Eldjarn, tells us all we should know about the Nordic countries.
Actor and now playwright Monica Dolan is known for roles in W1A, Call the Midwife, and Appropriate Adult, in which she played Rosemary West. Her new show in Edinburgh The B*easts, is a thought-provoking show about the sexualisation of children, and how society is quick to judge.
Plus writer Alan Bissett on reviving Falkirk's finest, Moira Bell, 8 years since he first created her; Gary Lamont talks life after River City, and Jayde Adams astounds with comedy and song.
