Charlie Gillen is in Benvarden, north Antrim, where the community has gathered to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Messines and the part played in it by local hero Private John Meeke MM. He courageously tended Major Willie Redmond and other casualties during the battle in June 1917.

There is a new drama production about this important event from World War I, and Charlie meets some of those involved with the commemoration.
