Controversy as Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn links terror attacks to wars abroad
Breaking news and hard-hitting talk as Stephen Nolan gets you talking about the big stories of the day.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has linked the terror threat in the UK to wars fought abroad by Britain. As election campaigning resumes after the attack in Manchester, Mr Corbyn will today say that the war on terror is simply not working. According to pre-released excerpts from his speech, Mr Corbyn will say that 'many experts... have pointed to the connections between wars our government has supported or fought in other countries and terrorism here at home'. And he will pledge a 'change at home and change abroad' if Labour wins power. Stephen spoke to Phil Kelly, local Labour Party member and Corbyn supporter, and John Rentoul, the Independent's chief political columnist.
