Pat Martin from the band Unicorn shares his 70s memories including being produced by David Gilmour, plus Johnnie previews the new Pink Floyd exhibition at the V&A.
It was an exciting decade for the band, who were signed in 1970 by Transatlantic Records and released 4 albums before playing their last gig in 1977. During that time, they supported Fleetwood Mac, the Doobie Brothers, 10cc, Nils Lofgren, Steeleye Span, Hawkwind, and Dr. Hook. and were themselves supported by Patti Smith. The band met David Gilmour right at the height of Pink Floyd's success with 'Dark Side Of The Moon' and ended up working with him over their next 3 albums.
Also on the show, Johnnie will delve into the 成人快手 archive to unearth what was happening this week in music in the 70s, and another classic seven-inch single will be added to Johnnie's Jukebox.
