No education budget means parents will have to pay for after-school activities and music provision. That is the warning from one primary school headmaster. Kevin Donaghy from St Ronan's Primary School in Newry called the situation faced by the school a "crisis"

Also, Easter drinking laws: an attempt to change the licensing laws in Northern Ireland has fallen flat on its face. Last year, the then communities minister Paul Givan proposed a new occasional late license allowing alcohol to be sold up until 2am on 12 nights a year. It was welcomed by many within the hospitality industry, who've long complained that our licensing laws are out dated and impact negatively on tourism. But plans have now been shelved because Stormont has collapsed.
