The lads are keen domestic cooks. This episode sees them learning how to use a food smoker under the eye of an experienced old hand! They return to their kitchen and assemble a new smoker. Uisdean prepares beef in a homemade pickle, with a special blend of spice rub to make the perfect pastrami. He also smokes a side of salmon in his mini smoker. Roddy prepares oatcakes from his grandmother's recipe, and prepares a potato salad and coleslaw.
