Adam Walton and guests discuss the search for planets outside our solar system, generally referred to as "exoplanets". With ever more sophisticated techniques, astronomers have now detected over 3000 planets orbiting other stars. The recent announcement of seven Earth like planets around the star known as "TRAPPIST-1" has sent a wave of excitement around the globe and brought new theories as to the types of worlds we may discover, and whether some of them might have life.
