The PM should tackle President Trump over climate change, say MPs. Hopes of new markets for North Sea lobster. Devon's sea defences a century after the Hallsands flood disaster.
A group of MPs is putting pressure on Theresa May to challenge President Trump over his views on climate change, when the two meet at the White House today. The all-party Environmental Audit Committee is concerned at reports that the newly-elected President wants to withdraw from the Paris Climate Change Agreement which obliges Governments to work at reducing global warming.
Crab and lobster fishermen on the East Yorkshire coast say they're optimistic about their industry in a post-Brexit world. Around 250 people work the boats which sail from Bridlington harbour and they've told Farming Today that healthy stocks in the North Sea and potential new markets for prawn and squid give them encouragement.
One hundred years ago water flooded the Devon village of Hallsands causing homes and buildings to crash in to the sea. As commemorations of the disaster take place, some concerned local people say they are worried history will repeat itself.
