Film Day with a review of T2 Trainspotting, plus Janice Forsyth hears from one of the stars of the film, Ewan McGregor

It's Film Day with a review of T2 Trainspotting, plus Janice Forsyth hears from the stars of the film, including Ewan McGregor.

It's film day: we'll discuss the much anticipated, T2 Trainspotting - Danny Boyle's follow-up to the cult 1996 hit, and hear from the stars of the film, Ewan McGregor and Jonny Lee Miller.

Regular Critics, Alistair Harkness & Stephen Carty will share their thoughts on it and on this week's big cinema releases: including Mel Gibson's remarkable new film, Hacksaw Ridge, which tells the extraordinary true story of conscientious objector Desmond T. Doss who saved 75 men at Okinawa in WW II, without firing a single shot!

And 'Sing' - featuring the talents of Matthew McConaughey and Scarlett Johansson. From the makers of Despicable Me - it's a fun, toe-tapping animated musical about animals pursuing their dream-to be singers. Garth Jennings (Son of Rambow) directed it and he'll tell us all about it!

Later in the show, we'll hear from Mick Jackson the director of the critically acclaimed, Denial, and Paul Sanchez - the New Orleans-born and based American Guitarist and singer-songwriter is live in session. All that and Tim Walker - former LA correspondent for the Independent, discusses his second novel, Smoke Over Malibu - a mystery set in LA with an English aristocrat as its hero - it's been described as 'The Big Lebowski meets Lovejoy'.

All that and much more, from two o'clock on Thursday, here on 成人快手 Radio Scotland
