To mark Armistice Day Euan looks at a new project encouraging communities across Scotland to get involved in a new project to find and record some of Scotland’s built heritage from the war years. He visits a former prisoner of War camp in the borders where buildings still stand a hundred years after they were occupied.

Sarah helps out with a project to relocate some Red Squirrels from the Black Isle to a forest in the North-West. The aim is to create new colonies in places where the squirrels could not naturally get to.

Dougie completes his journey to all four Small Isles with a trip to Canna. Despite getting battered by a huge Atlantic storm he finds out how the island is dealing with an explosion in the population of rabbits.

Sarah examines the thorny issue of rural mobile phone signals. Huge swathes of the country still have little or no mobile signal causing problems for individuals and businesses. So what is being done to improve coverage?

Euan meets the award winning collector of Bricks. Mark Cranston from Jedburgh has a collection of over two thousand unique bricks. At one time there were two hundred and fifty brickworks across Scotland using the country’s unique clay to make bricks that would be used on buildings across the globe.
