Patricia Cornwell is on fire as she launches her twenty fourth Kay Scarpetta novel – based on the celebrated medical examiner. And while Cornwell inhabits a world of 21st century forensic science, it's actually a 19th century serial killer, Jack the Ripper, that fascinates her.
Lottie Dolls, designed to look like children for children are squaring up to the outdated view of what a plastic perfected doll is. And since Lottie was launched 4 years ago, she has become a cultural phenomenon. So much so that the Letterkenny company that makes her - Arklu have signed a worldwide publishing contract with Penguin for a series of books - taking Lottie on a series of adventures off the Dorset Coast. Marie-Louise talks to co-founder Ian Harkin.
