Fiona Talkington presents the second in a series of four concerts, curated by Radio 3 in partnership with Cedars Hall at Wells Cathedral School and former Radio 3 New Generation Artists the Atos Trio. In today's lunchtime concert the group's musical journey around four European cities brings them to Paris. After the brilliant and prolific chamber composer Jean Francaix's Trio in D, written when he was in his seventies in 1986, the trio are joined by Philip Dukes for Faur茅's emotionally charged Piano Quartet in C minor, Op 15.
