Nigel Ogden features rarely heard recordings of theatre organists Dudley Beavan and John Seng. Featuring music by Irving Berlin, Richard Rodgers and Duke Ellington. British musician, Dudley Beavan, who died aged 35 in 1946 is heard in a series of recently rediscovered and remastered recordings made on the Wurlitzer at the Granada Cinema, Clapham Junction in the late 1930s. And, from the other side of the Atlantic, John Seng is featured in a series of previously unheard recordings that he made between 1967 and 1970 on the instrument that was the centre of his creative world, the Wurlitzer at St. Mary's Seminary in Mundelein, Illinois.
