Film day with a review of Antoine Fuqua's The Magnificent Seven, plus US filmmaker Ira Sachs talks about new film Little Men

Janice Forsyth has reviews of The Magnificent Seven, The Girl with All the Gifts and A Good American, plus US film-maker Ira Sachs talks about his comedy-drama Little Men.

It's movie day on The Janice Forsyth Show: We'll review Antoine Fuqua's much anticipated reboot of The Magnificent Seven in the company of regular critics, Nathanael Smith and Stephen Carty: it's an action-packed remake of the classic John Sturges Western from 1960-starring Denzel Washington in the epic tale about a hero and his six pals who protect a besieged town from a rapacious businessman.

They will also share their thoughts on this week's other big cinema releases: including The Girl With All The Gifts - set in a future society where a mysterious disease has turned almost everyone into zombie-like 'hungries' who feed on human flesh!!

And the 'docu-thriller' A Good American - the remarkable story of a former high-ranking NSA analyst turned whistle-blower.

Later in the show, the critically acclaimed New York based writer/director, Ira Sachs tells us about his touching new comedy-drama 'Little Men', and we'll be discussing the career of Jack White - the focus of new biography - with music writer.
