With Catfish and the Bottlemen

Catfish and the Bottlemen sit in for Steve Lamacq with their favourite new music.

The British 4 piece sit in for Steve Lamacq and present their favourite new music. Steve was the first person to play them, here on 成人快手 6 Music, when he spun an early demo in 2009.

The band was founded in 2007 in Llandudno, Wales when when Ryan Evan "Van" McCann and Billy Bibby began playing guitar together at Billy's parents home. After gigging and recording demos for a number of years, they finally released their debut singles in 2013. They released their debut studio album The Balcony in 2014 which made the UK top 10. They won the 成人快手 Introducing Award at the first 成人快手 Music Awards in December 2014, and won the British Breakthrough Act category at this years BRIT awards. They released their second studio album The Ride in June, which went straight to the top of the chart.
