More about the programme
On Wednesday July 6 - more than seven years after it was set up - Sir John Chilcot's Iraq Inquiry will finally publish its report into the run-up, conduct and aftermath of the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
Running to an estimated two million words, the document will be pored over by politicians, diplomats and military planners - but above all by the families of 179 servicemen and women who died in Iraq, who want to know why their loved ones paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Nelli Bird looks ahead to the long-awaited publication of the Iraq Inquiry's report and asks if - after all this time - it can provide the answers to one of the most traumatic episodes in modern British history.
