Cliff Martinez joins Lauren Laverne to talk about his new soundtrack The Neon Demon and working with director Nicolas Winding Refn again following Drive and Only God Forgives.

Composer and musician Cliff Martinez talks to us about his new soundtrack 'The Neon Demon'. He's teamed up with acclaimed director Nicolas Winding Refn again, having already collaborated on 'Drive' and 'Only God Forgives'. The thriller stars Elle Fanning and Jena Malone, with Cliff's 70s-synth inspired score skirting between romance and horror. As well as work with Refn, Cliff has a long-time relationship with Steven Soderbergh having worked on 'Kafka', 'Contagion' and 'Solaris' amongst others. We'll also quiz him about his early days drumming for the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
