Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul plus you can listen to Part 1 of Billy's interview with Coldplay's Chris Martin. Billy caught up with him at the band's recent sell out gig at Glasgow Hampden Park, Chris talks about his love of gigging, especially in Scotland and also talks about meeting David Bowie and how the band pay tribute to him and their hero Muhammad Ali in their stage shows. In this weekend's Musical Chairs feature Billy highlights the career of Rock musician Henry McCullough who died this week, recognised as a superb guitarist and best known for his involvement with Paul McCartney and Wings and also played with the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Donovan, Ronnie Lane, Frankie Miller and Joe Cocker. In Movie Moment Billy's playing 'Cat People (Putting Out Fire)' by David Bowie from the movie 'Cat People' and in Classic Songwriters, there's tracks from the pen of Scottish singer & songwriter Ricky Ross.
