With Ben Wheatley

Filmmaker Ben Wheatley joins Lauren to talk about dystopian JG Ballard adaptation High-Rise.

The renegade filmmaker joins Lauren to talk about dystopian Ballard adaptation, High-Rise.

Now five features deep into his career, Ben Wheatley has carved out a reputation as one of the most exciting voices in modern British cinema. Following on from his off-kilter horror masterpiece, Kill List, his serial killer comedy, Sightseers, and the brooding historical masterpiece, A Field in England, Wheatley now turns to a seminal work of J.G. Ballard for inspiration. High-Rise tells of a young doctor who finds himself seduced by an isolated community living in a luxury apartment block in 1975.
