Sam Stone faces a life-changing decision. Husband Dave yearns to be reunited with his brother in Australia, but emigrating would mean devastating her mum.
Ever since his brother emigrated to Australia 15 years ago, Dave Stone has been desperate to follow in his footsteps. But while it's been a dream he has been upfront about with wife Sam since they met more than a decade ago, she is more than happy at home in the UK.
An only child, Sam speaks to her mum every day, and the thought of being separated by half a world is enough to bring her to tears. A previous trip to Australia eight years ago failed to convince Sam to make the move, so will it be a case of second time lucky for Dave? Or will he face being split from his brother for good?

Stone family update
The Stone family are still living in Southwick for the time being. Dave has lodged his expression of interest and now must wait to be invited to apply for a visa.
Sam and Dave are both really keen to make the move as soon as possible but it is out of their hands for the meantime.
While they wait, the family are preparing themselves for the move and doing lots of research into everything involved.
