Llyr Williams and Calefax

With Llyr Williams performing Beethoven's Piano Sonata No 20, plus Calefax playing Grieg's Holberg Suite and Ravel's Ma mere l'oye.

The third in this week's series of concerts from Wales includes an early Beethoven piano sonata, part of Welsh pianist Llyr Williams's Beethoven cycle and a new arrangement of Ravel's Mother Goose suite, inspired by Perrault's fairy tales and written for his friends the Godebski's children, played by reed quintet Calefax at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea.

Recorded at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Swansea International Festival.
