Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie's guest today is the erudite enthuse-meister himself, Sid Griffin. Our resident musicologist chats all about his time as frontman of Californian alt-country-cowpunk band, The Long Ryders. Formed in LA in the early 80s, they were part of the so-called Paisley Underground, influenced by Gram Parsons and The Byrds, and became well-known for their hit Looking for Lewis and Clark. As well as this, there's the Chain, an ear-bothering array of splendid tunes and your chance for office victory by getting the link in the three records of Teatime Themetime before anyone in Accounts or HR.
