Peter May, Ann Morgan, Unoma Okudo, The Weir, Teenage Comedy Night, Louie from Hector Bizerk and Pronto Mama
Janice Forsyth talks to author Peter May about his novel Coffin Road, plus there is a live session from Glaswegian singer-songwriter Unoma Okudo.
On Monday Janice will be joined by Amanda Gaughan, who's directing Conor McPherson's Olivier award winning play The Weir, and we'll have a live extract from the production.
Author Peter May tells Janice about his new thriller, Coffin Road, set on Harris in the Outer Hebrides. We have an exclusive live music session from Glasgow-based singer songwriter Unoma Okudo, who's song Satisfied is Janice's Single of the Week.
We also have a live music session from Glasgow band Pronto Mama, who have started a monthly 'Beatnik Retreat' in Glasgow. They tell Janice all about it with Louie from hip hop group Hector Bizerk, who will be launching his new book and LP at the inaugural event.
We'll hear about a teenage comedy night started by 2015 Teenage So You Think Your Funny winner Joe Gardner and Donna Campbell, whose Glasgow cafe will host the events.
We'll have a dark debut novel about twins who swap identities from author Ann Morgan, so our Vinyl Verdict choice has a sisters theme - will listeners choose Sisters are Doin' it for Themselves by Aretha Franklin and Annie Lennox, or We are Family by Sister Sledge?
