Brix and the Extricated

Marc has Brix and the Extricated, featuring Brix Smith of the Fall and Adult Net live in session.

Marc gives a big Salford welcome to Brix and the Extricated.

Brix is of course Brix Smith-Start formerly of the Fall and Adult Net. A pivotal member of the Fall during their most commercially successful period Brix has been away from music for a number of years and become well known as a TV fashion pundit.

However she has now returned to the fray as leader of Brix and the Extricated. Not only that but her band features fellow Fall alumni Steve Hanley on bass, brother Paul Hanley on drums and Steve Trafford on guitar plus virtuoso guitarist Jason Brown (who's not been in the Fall...as far as we know).
