Billy Bragg

Mark Radcliffe presents the show solo and is joined by singer-songwriter Billy Bragg.

Mark Radcliffe presents the show solo today, joined by guest, singer-songwriter Billy Bragg. Billy grew up in Barking, and his albums include Life's a Riot with Spy vs. Spy, Brewing Up with Billy Bragg, Workers Playtime, Tooth and Nail, and Talking with The Taxman about Poetry. He'll be talking with Mark Radcliffe about his lyrics today, which are a kind of poetry we suppose, which articulate both his personal and political passions over the past 5 decades.

And that's not all! There's Teatime Themetime, when you guess the link between 3 tunes and lots of splendid music to accompany you through the afternoon till four o'clock. Apart from that - you just sit back and enjoy the music, comrades.
