Each week, as well as handpicking key new releases and classics from the UK, USA, Jamaica and beyond, Don highlights a favourite album from his own collection. He explains why it means so much to him and features three key tracks. This week it's Urban Hymns, released by The Verve in 1997.

Don says, "Man I love this record - this The Verve's third album was their biggest - and rightly so. Led by the inimitable Richard Ashcroft, whose vocal delivery matched his attitude, it featured a bunch of singles that seemed to tap into the cultural climate of the times. We're talking intelligent cinematic pop songs with a dark underbelly, delivered via ballads, cool grooves and anthemic rockers - brilliant!".
