Rod Stewart joins Shaun

Shaun returns from his break and is joined by Rod Stewart, who talks about his new album, Another Country.

Monday morning sees Rod Stewart in the studio after 9am.

In a career spanning more than 5 decades, Rod Stewart has amassed sales of more than 200 million albums and singles worldwide. Throughout his career, he's garnered two inductions into the coveted Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, 18 Grammy nominations and in 2007 was bestowed Commander of the British Empire (CBE) by the Queen. In 2012, Stewart became a New York Times Bestselling author with the release of his autobiography. The following year, he released "Time", his first rock album in a dozen years, on Decca Records. The album features 11 original tracks and marked Rod's return to songwriting after nearly two decades. Time entered the UK Albums Chart at No. 1, setting a new British record for the longest gap between chart-topping albums by an artist -- and in the US, it marked Stewart's highest-charting album of original material since 1979. He join Shaun to chat about his new album 'Another Country'.

Plus, Matt Everitt has the latest Music News & your Earworms before 8am.
