To quit or not to quit the dairy industry? It's been a summer of protests with farmers taking milk off supermarket shelves and meetings with government and retailers. Farmers For Action chairman David Handley has long been at the head of this campaign of direct action and negotiation but he recently announced he would quit dairy farming this autumn. Rachael Garside visits him on his farm in Monmouthshire and hears how while he maybe losing his cows he's not deserting dairy farmers and their campaign for better milk prices.
And while dairy farmers are reported to be leaving the industry in their droves - there are those who venture into it....We catch up with. He had just started converting his farm from sheep and beef cattle to dairy cows when the price of milk dropped in autumn last year.
