Builder Simon Jacob talks to Gillian Russell about the physical and mental preparations for doing a triple ironman triathlon ... only 6 days after doing a single ironman. The triple ironman consists of a 7.2 mile swim, a 336 mile cycle and a 78.2 mile run. What possessed Simon to sign up for it, how does he fit his training in around work and family life ... and just how is he feeling about the daunting challenge with only a few days to go?
While most of us wouldn't ever consider a triple ironman, are you curious about what your body could perhaps achieve? What do you think your fitness limit is and would you push yourself to it - or beyond?
