Lauren is live from the 成人快手's Maida Vale studios with FFS in session. As part of a day long celebration of live music, Lauren will be revealing the first two acts who will be playing next month's 6Music Live at Maida Vale week. In the week commencing October 5th, Lauren will once again take the show to Maida Vale for five days of special live events. Broadcasting on 成人快手 6Music, on the 成人快手 Red Button and online, this year's line up once again will bring the 6Music listeners an amazing range of artists from across the musical spectrum. Previous acts to appear in the 6Music Live series include Sir Paul McCartney. Sigur Ros, De La Soul, La Roux, Primal Scream and Underworld, all of which brought their near hour long sets to hundreds of thousands of viewers both on TV and online.

From 6am to midnight today, 6Music will be broadcasting a live session on every show. Chris Hawkins, Shaun Keaveny, Lauren Laverne, Radcliffe and Maconie, Steve Lamacq, Marc Riley and Gideon Coe will be welcoming some of their favourite acts onto their shows to play live. Lauren is joined by FFS, a supergroup consisting of Franz Ferdinand and Sparks, who released their self-titled debut album in June. They showcase tracks from it as part of this special day of music from midday.
