Music by Sibelius and Beethoven performed at the 2015 Great Music in Irish Houses Festival.

Penny Gore brings this week's series of Lunchtime Concerts, recorded at the Great Music in Irish Houses Festival 2015, to a close with works by Sibelius and Beethoven.

We begin with Sibelius' 4 Pieces Op.78 - Impromptu, Romance, Religioso and Rigaudon - performed by the Latvian sisters Baiba and Skride in the magnificent setting of No 6 Kildare Street, Dublin: home to the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.

It's followed by Beethoven's expansive 'Archduke' Trio - a masterpiece in the genre, dedicated to Archduke Rudolph of Austria, one of his closest friends and patrons. Dublin-based musicians Michael D'Arcy, Christopher Marwood and Hugh Tinney, perform it in the 19th-century tudor revival mansion, Killruddery House.
