From local radio and regional television, she came to national fame in 1980, reporting live from the Iranian embassy siege in London.听听
She went on to spend fourteen years as the 成人快手鈥檚 Chief News Correspondent, and since then since she鈥檚 made many programmes and is regular presenter of Radio 4鈥檚 From Our Own Correspondent.听
