BELFAST CONSUMER ADVICE CENTRE

The Belfast Consumer Advice Centre provides free specialist advice to consumers and traders in Belfast on issues like:听 Faulty goods, substandard service, shopping, home maintenance and repairs, consumer credit purchases, holidays and other consumer goods and services.

CITIZENS ADVICE

Citizens Advice provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. If they can't help you they will direct you to the people that can.

TAX HELP FOR OLDER PEOPLE

Tax Help for Older People is a service from the charity Tax Volunteers providing free, independent and expert help and advice for older people on lower incomes who cannot afford to pay for professional tax advice.

HOUSING RIGHTS SERVICE

Housing Rights Service exists to help people who are in housing need in Northern Ireland.听 They offer advice on homelessness, social tenancies, renting privately, Housing Executive or housing association rent arrears, mortgage debt and repossession advice.听 Plus representation at court, and helping people in custody.听

The Ombudsman deals with two types of complaints: those about public services, and complaints about the conduct of councillors.
