Farmers and market traders Peter Gott and Jim Fairlie discuss the growth of farmers markets in Scotland. Faced with a crisis in the late 1990's Jim Fairlie took inspiration from a small market he visited in France and created the Perth farmers market as a way to be able to sell his produce. Today there are over 60 farmers markets in Scotland and numerous community markets.

With the launch of the 15th 成人快手 Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards 成人快手 Radio Scotland listeners are being asked to nominate their favourite Scottish market in the Best Food Markets category.
