Cathy MacDonald offers another opportunity to enjoy some of the successful performers from the Children's Mod 2014. The Mod returned to Inverness for the first time since 1997 and the week got off to a great start with the children's competitions. Saturday as the first day of the Mod with youngsters playing musical instruments taking part.
On Monday the singing competitions began with young learners to the fore while the following day, the competitions were aimed at native speakers. A selection of winners from all three days will be shown including the winners of the James C MacPhee medals and also the young girl and boy who on the Comunn G脿idhealach Silver Medals, Catriona Bain and her brother Iain Alasdair Bain.
