This week he picks Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes. Released in 1969, it was Isaac's second album.

Don says, "Another one my older brothers hipped me to because I was only 13 when this soul masterpiece caught my ear. It's innovative production was so sonically revolutionary that it captured the imagination of rock audiences too. It's Henry Rollins's favourite soul record!".
