Broadcaster and author Trevor Royle who specialises in the history of war and empire joins the programme in the run up to Remembrance Day to discuss his book 'Isn't All This Bloody' which brings together a huge range of literary material - including poetry, prose, fiction, non-fiction, letters and articles - by Scottish writers and shows how war affected not only those who fought at the front, but also those at home. And staying in the same vein, art historian Anne Ellis drops by to provide a recap and a roundup of Scottish war artists.
