Mark Radcliffe presents the show solo, joined by guests Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. OMD have just celebrated 35 years in music, and are here to chat about performing the whole of their 1983 album Dazzle Ships from the Museum of Liverpool. Dazzle Ships marked a major departure in sound for the New Wave group, recorded after their big success with 1981's Architecture and Morality, and used musique concrete soundscapes and shortwave radio recordings to reflect Cold War and Eastern Block Themes.
