Liz chats to Justin Sullivan, founder, frontman and main songwriter with cult alternative act New Model Army. They release the new album Between Blood And Wine this month, which is a part live part studio album.
They formed in Bradford in 1980 and released their debut album Vengeance in 1984. They developed a cult following and are renowned for their political and humanitarian lyrics. They've released 12 studio albums to date, the most recent Between Dog And Wolf being the most successful for a number of years.
As part of 6 Music Live, celebrating live music on the network, Liz will be looking back across the more than 300 sessions which have been broadcast on 6 Music this past year alone. She'll be picking some of her favourites and playing them in the show today.
