This week we have another edition recorded in New Zealand where Chris Smith teamed up with Simon Morton from Radio New Zealand's This Way Up programme. At the Paramount Theatre in Wellington they were joined by a panel of six scientists to talk about their work. In Part One: The amazing properties of nanoparticles; Research into how ultraviolet light is being used to make plants grow better; And news of new treatments for multiple sclerosis. Then in Part Two: We focus on global warming, with a look a how its affecting the Antarctic ice sheet and temperatures in the deep oceans. And finally, as we're in New Zealand, we'll be hearing how computer scientists are tracking down their elusive national bird - The Kiwi.
