Tom chats to Anton Newcombe, frontman of American rock act The Brian Jonestown Massacre. They formed in San Francisco in 1988 and have gained notoriety for their fractious band relationships and the drug addiction of Anton.
They started out as a shoegaze band but have drawn influences from psychedelia, folk and blues rock. The notoriety was fueled further in 2004 with the release of the documentary Dig! which showed the love hate relationship between them and The Dandy Warhols.
