As 6 Music Celebrates Cycling, Shaun comes live from Leeds as the Tour de France rolls into Yorkshire as part of the Le Grand Depart 2014.

Shaun is live in Leeds as 6 Music Celebrates Cycling. This weekend the World's most Rock n Roll endurance Race - Le Tour De France rolls into Yorkshire as part of the Le Grand Depart 2014.

6 Music's Cycling expert Gideon Coe joins Shaun after 9am to look ahead to the tour and some of the little spots the riders should be looking out for as they snake their way through Yorkshire. Plus, Shaun meets the people behind The Pedallers' Arms - a cooperative Bike Shop in Leeds that holds regular bike maintenance sessions. Shaun once rode to work with his brakes on so he's keen to learn how to look after his bike and stay safe on the roads.

Friday also sees Radio 5 Live's Cycling expert OJ Borg talks through his top tips for this year's tour and we hear from the people behind the infamous Fan Parks where so many cycling fans will go to watch the tour and soak up the atmosphere.

During the week of the Tour De France, which this year starts in Yorkshire, 6 Music Celebrates Cycling with shows across the network capturing the spirit and celebrating the ever-growing community of cyclists. 6 Music will also be exploring the musical choices and passions of world renowned cyclists, like Tour de France winner and Olympic gold medallist, Sir Bradley Wiggins. Alongside the Modfather himself, Paul Weller, they both swaps stories and tunes as they talk about the first records they bought, their shared love of northern soul and the music that shaped their style.
