Johnnie Walker is joined in conversation by Tony Banks, keyboardist and a founding member of Genesis.

Johnnie Walker celebrates the decade of Al Green, Al Stewart and Albert Hammond.

This week he's joined in conversation with Tony Banks, the keyboardist and a founding member of Genesis. Forming at the end of the sixties with a progressive feel, the band's sound evolved throughout the seventies as key members Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett left the group.

Remaining behind the drums for the band's whole tenure, Tony also found time to release a solo album called "A Curious Feeling" in 1979. Together with Johnnie he'll cover his time in the band, and how they survived as punk rock tried to wipe out prog at the end of the decade.

Also on the show, Johnnie will revisit a moment from the decade courtesy of the 成人快手 archive and another classic seven-inch single will be added into Johnnie's Jukebox.
