This morning's mission is to get in touch with your musical side. Whether you've got a clarinet under the bed, a locked piano, or an unrequited love for percussion, this morning is the perfect moment to have a bash again. Or, if you're an absolute beginner, find a way to make a racket.

World Music Day is an annual celebration on June 21 in cities around the world. Its purpose is to promote amateur and professional musicians.

Chilly Gonzales is a Canadian MC, pianist, producer and songwriter. He has collaborated with Peaches, Jane Birkin, Feist, Drake and Daft Punk. He has recently released a book and CD called 'Re-Introduction Etudes', which contains 24 easy-to-play pieces for piano, to help amateur musicians get back on to the piano stool.
