Three of Wales's top chefs - returning contender Mary Ann Gilchrist, former military man David Kelman and fellow newcomer Andy Beaumont - compete for the last remaining place in the finals.
Second-timer Mary Ann is determined to get through to the judges on Friday again after last year, but David and Andy do everything they can to stop her.
